Sorry all for our absence, but, once again, life gets in the way of important things like doing beer reviews and editing episodes....

Gravyfest 2010 has come and gone, and was a great time for all those who attended....we only lost 2 people this year!!!!

Now that we are back and reenergized, look forward to a flurry of new episodes....beer reviews, and new content!!!!

Thanks to our loyal followers (you both know whom you are....), you will not be disappointed!!!

Gravyfest is one month away!!!!

Yes! We are one month away from Gravyfest!!!! The excitement is mounting...the guest list is growing, and the livers are already in pain!!!!

Updates:

1. I think we found a new place for Saturday's lunch. I will announce the location after consultation with BuBBy

2. T-shirts should be available for sale in a week or less!

3. DuClaw's has a new location at the BWI airport! Some of us will be there partying Friday afternoon to start off the festivities!!!

Gravyfest 2010…7 weeks away!

Yes! Gravyfest 2010 is almost upon us! This is our 4th annual get together in Baltimore, Maryland the weekend of August 13, 14 and 15! This is shaping up to be our best party ever! Watch out for more details soon....

We are going to get the party started early afternoon on Friday, August 13th!

-We have Mr. Whiskey hard at work on a secret T-shirt project

-Places on the list we will be drinking include: Max's Tap House, The Horse, Bar, ??? Woody's Rum Bar (do we dare?)

-8th floor pavillion at the Hilton Garden after hours (including Paradox's annual Domino's Pizza with pepperoni)

-Tiki Bar party at Johnny Dollar's house on Friday night

Its been a while

Ok...we haven't posted in a while....its the usual bullshit...work, family, etc.

Just a few updates:

1. We recorded the first in our History of Alcohol series, The History of Beer. Hopefully the editing will be done by next week, and we will have the episode up by the end of next week

2. Gravyfest 2010! Yes! Gravyfest is upon us in a little over 8 weeks! More details soon!

3. New beer review this week!

4. As usual...if you need to relax, you can look for us on Tokbox if you want to share a beer and some frank, intellectual reparte!!!

New beer review: Hitachino Espresso Stout

What better way to start a long weekend than with a new beer review? Here I reviewed the Hitachino Nest Beer's Espresso Stout, which happens to be one of my favorite coffee beers! Its a little hard to find, but well worth the hunt!

Other quick notes:

1. We apologize for the delay on the new podcast episodes: life has been wicked busy

2. Look for the addition of Brain Gravy After Dark to our lineup....

Yes! Finally! I have just posted a new beer review, Flying Dog's Raging Bitch! This is a Belgian style IPA, and, to my palate, is one amazing beer! Luring you in with its sweetness, it then slams you on the head with its intense bold hoppiness! Read the review now here!

Also...look for more beer reviews this week, as well as some new Brain Gravy hopefully by the end of the week, early next week!

Also...this is the web design I am keeping! So I can finally move on and stop obsessing about the web design and work on much needed content. Expect more beer reviews and show notes....going to tweak some colors, but otherwise....hope you like this layout!

Yes...its Monday once again! I had a glorious weekend, as I hope all of you did as well! I want to thank everyone who sent me wonderful birthday wishes, as well as my friends who shared some time with me in chat this weekend celebrating!

This week I plan on posting a new beer review every day....first one later tonite. I am also editing some audio for some new ideas we have for the Brain Gravy family. And, one way or another, I will finally settle on a website design I can live with. I spend way too much time obsessing about the format and layout...I just have to decide on something and move on!
